Personal Details

Peter was born in Bolton, Lancashire  in 1950.


He worked in the family catering business for nine years before moving to Littlewoods for twenty six years, the last five as Senior Operations Manager within the Mail Order division. In the early 2000s, he practised as a Management Consultant before being Ordained in the Manchester Diocese of the Church of England. On moving to Oxfordshire in 2010, Peter became the vicar of six parishes on the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border.

He is married with two sons and three grandchildren.

  • Initiated into Georgian Lodge No. 4595 (East Lancs) in 1977, becoming Worshipful Master 1993
  • Appointed Past Provincial Senior Grand Deacon (East Lancs) 2003
  • Joined Bowen Lodge (Bucks) No. 2816 in 2012
  • Appointed Provincial Grand Chaplain (Bucks) in 2012

Royal Arch

  • Exalted in St. John’s Royal Arch Chapter No. 348 (East Lancs) in 1983, becoming MEZ in 1998
  • Appointed Provincial Grand Steward (East Lancs) in 2005
  • Promoted to Past Provincial Grand Sojourner (East Lancs) in 2010
  • Joined Bowen Royal Arch Chapter No. 948 in 2013

Rose Croix

  • Joined Via Phari Chapter No. 1060 in 2013
