BMGS 2016 season comes to an end

The Bucks Masonic Golf Society season for 2016 ended in October with a match against Berkshire, which unfortunately we lost by 2 points 358 – 356, during the year we also played Middlesex which we won 256 – 219 and Bedfordshire which we also won 245 – 215, but as our president says ‘’you can’t win them all’’, the full year’s results are listed below.

In May we played at Silverstone Golf Club and in June Harleyford Golf Club both new venues for us but I think we shall definitely return to both as I think we have now all mastered them

One of the most satisfying parts of our year is that we raised £1,000 for charity; it was decided at our AGM to send £200 each to help St Mary's Church Shenley in Milton Keynes, British Heart Foundation, Greenfingers who create gardens for children in hospices, Wendover library and Marlow Opportunities Playgroup

We now look forward to next year and hope the golfing and weather gods are looking down on us, if there is anyone interested in joining us as a member or as a guest at any of the meetings you would be very welcome, details below
