The Lodge Mentor's Role

Every lodge must take care of all its members. The Lodge Mentor has a vital role to play as it is his responsibility to ensure that Mentoring is not only implemented, but that it also works effectively in his Lodge. He must co-ordinate the Mentoring process to ensure that every member has a suitable and effective Mentor who will nurture them on their Masonic journey and to whom they can turn when needed.

He must ensure that all the members of his Lodge are aware of Mentoring and what benefits it will bring to their Lodge and, above all, he must match the right Mentor to incoming candidates, not forgetting that the candidates sponsors may also be suitable.
