Seminars are to be held at The Bletchley Masonic Centre on 9th June and 21st July and at The Slough Masonic Centre on 23rd June and 21st July.
The Secretaries’ and Scribes E seminars are lead by experienced Secretaries and Scribe Es and are aimed at sharing BEST PRACTICE with newly appointed Secretaries, Scribes, Recorders and those aspiring to those Offices within the Province.
Secretaries and Scribes E attending the seminars vary from the more experienced to Secretary and Scribe E Designate, together with some who wish to find out more about the role of the Lodge and Chapter Secretary and Scribe E before committing themselves to undertake it. The seminars have also been beneficial to the more experienced serving Secretaries and Scribes who might wish to review their role by considering up to date practice.
The content of these well-attended seminars covers all aspects of being a Lodge Secretary or Chapter Scribe E, such as essential reporting to Grand and Provincial Grand Offices, the Book of Constitutions and Royal Arch Regulations fundamentals, preparation of summons and general points relating to Lodge and Chapter Management. The discussion groups have revealed many tips and wrinkles which more experienced Secretaries and Scribes Es have found useful to employ.
The seminar content is constantly updated to accommodate the latest issues concerning Lodge Secretaries and Scribes E and attendance by experienced Secretaries is extremely useful in generating discussion and passing valuable advice to newer or aspiring holders of this important office. The team that facilitate this programme are always available to offer advice.
