Visiting Officers' Briefing Update

Autumn / Winter 2016

Brethren in this document I have provided you with several pieces of information from which you can ‘cherry pick’ items of relevance to pass on to any Lodge for which you are a Visiting Officer.  Some of the information is new and some is an update, or an expansion, of items which have previously been reported because many of the topics are ongoing.

The Visiting Officer and his Role

Status

When a Visiting Officer visits a Lodge they are a senior representative of the Province of Buckinghamshire appointed by the Provincial Grand Master. As such it is expected that in the Lodge meeting they will sit in the East, to the right of the Worshipful Master, after any Grand Officers who may be present.
