Winslow Masons host Christmas Lunch for carers

Masons from Claydon Lodge based in Winslow held a Christmas Lunch on the 14th of December for the local support group, clients and family of “Friends of Options Well Street”.

The event was held at the Bell Hotel in Winslow.

“Options” are based at Well Street, Buckingham which provides day care for adults with learning disabilities.

“Friends of Options Well Street” is the support group for the carers.

Funding was provided by the Buckinghamshire Masonic Charity, Freemasonry in the Community.

David Winterburn hosted the event and also presented a donation which was raised by Masons who attend the Eliot Hall Saturday Morning Club.

Freemasonry in the Community has also arranged a trip to Milton Keynes Theatre for the group to see Cinderella.

Thanks go out to Philip Menday proprietor of The Bell Hotel, Winslow for the hospitality for lunch and to Tesco Buckingham and Sainsbury’s Local at Buckingham for donating raffle prizes. And finally, to local Freemasons, Caleb Walton and Sue Walton, Ian Nicolson and Grae Laws who helped during the lunch.
