Provincial Shows & Events

Autumn/Winter 2016

The provincial show team's aim is to promote awareness of Freemasonry in the community. 2016 has been a year of change with more changes to come!

The Show team have had a good 2016 with a number of increasing successful Shows and Events, some examples of which being The Waddesdon fete hosted by Ferdinand De Rothschild Lodge, Winslow Show, Bucks County Show, Amersham Heritage Day hosted by Amersham Lodge culminating in the Kop Hill Climb to show case the new Motor Cycle Lodge and the next lodge to be consecrated the Classic Car Lodge.

We are not a recruitment team, but we communicate what Freemasonry has to offer to the community by education and enlightenment, to be able to explain how to get our support via the BMCF, being open to explain what Freemasonry is and we have also achieved new members to the Province and local Lodges as a by-product. For example, joining members who have moved into the area, lapsed members who have also moved into the area and wishing to re-join and of course new initiates! Plus having fun doing this........

We are in a state of change, we have had some great investment with some new equipment- see the pictures and masons having fun, we are looking for new venues & Shows throughout the Province! If you are aware of a Show which could do with a visit by the team, let us know now. But more so come along and offer to be part of the team we need more people! You don't have to be a Master or Provincial Officer or even a Master Mason but happy to engage with the Public and other masons, we all learn more for being on the stand, we have already started to plan for 2017 so it is a good time to join, you do not have to wait to be asked to join.

2017 is going to be a really challenging and a fun year, with a number of high profile Shows & Events to celebrate the Tercentenary and the Festival – Chiltern Hills Vintage vehicle rally, Windsor Race Day plus more to be disclosed.
