Three Peaks Challenge Raises £14,000 for Province of Buckinghamshire Festival 2021

Twelve members of Manor of Swanburn Lodge, plus family members, climbed all three peaks and six extra came along for Snowdon on the last day in gale force winds and torrential rain!

They raised a fantastic £14,000 in aid of the Province of Buckinghamshire 2021 Festival.

The additional six included ADC and lodge mentor Malcolm Wheeler, with his wife Jane and daughter-in-law Donna, Senior Warden Dave Talbot and Charity Steward Steve Perry’s Mum and Dad who is 82 and was the oldest taking part!

Steve, whose idea the challenge was, commented: “I’m so proud of them. It’s been a fantastic achievement for all of us.”

The attached photo shows the team presenting PGM John Clark a cheque for £13,500 at their welcome home party, another £500 has since been donated.

Also a photo showing the team at the top of Snowdon.
