BUCKS PGL – ONLINE BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This website www.buckspgl.org is owned and operated by The Provincial Grand Lodge of Buckinghamshire (“Bucks PGL”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Our office address is The Old School House, Windsor End, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.

These terms and conditions (“terms”) will apply each time you use our website to order tickets for an event, please read them carefully before placing your order. From time to time, it may be necessary for us to change these terms. Therefore, we recommend that you look at these terms each time you place an order.

1    How to order
1.1    To order tickets for an event, please follow the steps shown on the online booking page of our website
1.2    By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1.3    Once you have placed an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging receipt of your order. However, this does not mean that your order has been accepted.  Our acceptance of your order will only take place when we send you an order confirmation email. It is at this point that a binding contract between you and us shall be formed.
1.4    Please note that once your order has been accepted by us, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded except in the circumstances explained below.

2    Restrictions
2.1    There are limited tickets available for each event and tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
2.2    Admittance at some events will be subject to entry criteria, for example, members only or age restrictions. Details of any entry criteria will be shown on our website and you should check this before placing your order. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone that in our opinion does not meet the entry criteria and no refunds shall be given.

3    Delivery
3.1    When you place your order, you will be asked to confirm whether you wish to collect your tickets in person at the event or have them delivered by first class post before the event.
3.2    If you are ordering tickets for an event which is scheduled to take place within 7 days of your order, tickets must be collected in person.
3.3    We are not responsible for any tickets mislaid or lost by the Royal Mail.
3.4    Please note we can only deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom.
3.5    If you chose to have the tickets delivered by post, you will be charged for postage and packing at the rates shown on our website.

4    Price and payment
4.1    Ticket prices shall be displayed on our website in pounds sterling and may be subject to change up until the point at which you submit your order.
4.2    You can pay for your tickets using a debit card or credit card. We accept the following cards: Visa (Debit/Credit) or Mastercard
4.3    Payment for the tickets is in advance. You will be charged at the end of the checkout process. In the event we are unable to supply tickets or confirm your order, you will be refunded the amount paid.

5    Changes, cancellations and refunds
5.1    You accept that there may be circumstances where we have to make changes to the format, speakers, performers, participants, content and/or timing of an event, you shall not be entitled to a refund in such circumstances.
5.2    If you are unable to attend an event you have bought a ticket for, you can give your ticket to someone else to attend in your place provided that they satisfy any applicable entry criteria.  
5.3    If we have to cancel an event and the event cannot be rescheduled or you cannot make the rescheduled date, you shall be entitled to cancel your tickets and receive a refund of the ticket price paid by you. Similarly, if we have to change the location of an event and you are unable to attend as a result, you shall be entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid by you.

6    Our liability
6.1    We shall be responsible for any loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time we entered into this contract.
6.2    Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

7.2    Nothing in these terms shall affect your legal rights as a consumer. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau.
7.3    If you have any questions about an event we are running or an order you have placed, you can contact us by using the contact us form on this website.
7.4    Both still and video photography may be used at the event and in accepting these terms you confirm that images or footage in which you are present may be used by us and distributed as we see fit. If you do not agree with your image being included, it is your responsibility to notify us prior to the event by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. stating the event and your refusal to allow your image to be used.
7.5    These terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English law and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
