APGM Tony Robinson joins with Bletchley Freemasons to serve tea to the hospital staff at the Milton Keynes Hospital Tea party.
Tony then presented a cheque from Buckinghamshire Freemasons for £300 to purchase items such as Bean bags, Stress Balls, a Back Massage chair and Free Standing Punch Bag and Gloves for a new A&E staff restroom to help relieve stress during well-deserved breaks.
Paul Strong Trust Fund Raiser for the Milton Keynes Hospital Charity said “The very kind donation of £300 will make a huge difference for the staff in our A&E department. With this generous gift we will be able to purchase equipment and furniture for a stress-relief room, which staff will be able to visit to release some of the stress caused by the particularly traumatic cases they deal with on a regular basis. The ability to utilise the facilities in this room will not only have benefits for staff but will also help to ensure that each and every patient visiting A&E will be given the very best medical and emotional support available.“
