A hardy band of Brothers met at Huntswood G.C. in April for the first meeting of Bucks Masonic Golf Society in 2019. The weather was kind and the day was enjoyed by all. The course was in excellent condition and there were some good scores returned. The day was topped off with a light meal and a beer.
The match was won by a new society member for 2019, Steve Long who was only initiated into Freemasonry in November 2018. Our Captain Stan Green had much pleasure in presenting Steve with the trophy.
This was the first meeting of a packed series of competitions in 2019, including playing Bedfordshire late April and Berks & Middx later in the year. Bucks soundly defeated all three provinces in 2018 and we shall be making every effort to repeat the process this year.
