On Monday 7th November 2022, the Provincial Grand Master, RW John Clark was delighted to present Bro Donald Gibbons with a Long Service Award recognising 60 years in Freemasonry.
RW John was accompanied by W Bros Webster Springer (Past Master of Vale Lodge No 6632), Peter Russell (Secretary, Vale Lodge No 6632) and Ian Bailey, Provincial Grand Secretary. The presentation was made at Bro Don’s home in St Albans.
Bro Don was initiated into Vale Lodge 6632 on 19th September 1962 at the age of 24 years. The Worshipful Master on that day was his father W Bro Sidney Frank Gibbons, who was the Primus IPM at the Vale Lodge consecration on 29th April 1948. Don remains a member of Vale Lodge 6632 to this day.
Don has a love of music and still plays. His working life was with British Telecom. He is now retired and lives in St Albans.
