W.Bro David Durn, Secretary of Denham Green Lodge No: 9636 visited Michael Sobell House Hospice in Northwood, Middlesex on 11th July 2017 to present their Events and Community.
Fundraising Manager Ophelia Chambers-Henry with a cheque for £5,000. The money was raised by W.Bro Richard Broadway and the Brethren of Denham Green Lodge during his year as Master.
Denham Green Lodge has supported MSH financially for the last couple of years and has contributed £7,900 in total from lodge events and charitable giving by its members. Individual lodge members have also supported the Hospice personally and an additional £7,000 has been raised by David Durn during the last 3 years to further the good work carried out.
The centre is based in Middlesex but they assist so many families from Middlesex and mainly the South Buckinghamshire area.
MSH provides care, comfort and support for local people facing life limiting illnesses and the lodge's support is truly Freemasonry in the Community.
