Bucks MTSFC Day Out at Cubblington

For their second event of 2018, the Bucks MSTFC team saw some new records made!

14 children and 2 carers from Pebble Brook school in Aylesbury joined us at Lakeside Fishery, for what was a beautiful clear-sky day. Upon arrival they met up with their assigned casters, setup their fishing areas they  spent a cloudless morning catching fish from a few ounces to 10s of pounds. Graham Dearing,  Bucks APGM lent his support and the day was off to a fine start.

Our catering team for lunch made sure on such a warm day with a great selection of burgers, sausages, crisps, fruit and cold beverages in the shade of our new MTSFC marquee.

After lunch, the children went back to fishing in earnest -- some children caught more than 30 fish, whilst one lucky charge and his caster Dean Read set a new record at 14lb, 7oz with a mighty Carp. Over the last 3 years, Dean has consistenly set the record amongst our MTSFC fishermen at the fishery.

The day concluded with Graham Dearing giving each child their award certificates as well as giving medals for largest fish, most fish and best attitude on the day. All in all an excellent day out for all involved!
