Stony Stratford-based Lodge, Secklow Hundred 9569 recently held a White Table meeting.
The idea was to open the lodge up to friends and family.
After the lodge meeting, the lodge’s guests were treated to a short talk about the offices in the lodge, and for many, it was a first chance to glimpse the inside of a lodge room.
The main event of the evening was the actual white table itself.
Diners were treated to a good range of dinner jazz, sung by Paul French (WM of Verney Lodge).
As the diners finished their food, Paul got into his stride and moved on an upbeat and humorous selection of soul, rock n roll, and standards. He got the audience feet tapping and even got a few brethren to join in the act.
The evening was so successful, Secklow Hundred are going to hold a second event in June 2019, in support of the Festival Fortnight
