The members of Marlow Masonic Centre hosted a Christmas lunch for 79 senior citizens on Thursday 15th December.
Members of the various Freemasons' Lodges which meet at the centre served a traditional 3-course Christmas lunch and entertained their guests with some festive entertainment to help brighten up the dull days of December.
Joining the guests from the White Lodge Care Home, Stokenchurch Day Centre, Fingest Tea Club, and Marlow Age Concern were the Mayor of Marlow, Councillor Bob Johnson and his wife Shirley.
Sadly, Father Christmas had reindeer problems and had to rely on his helpers to deliver the presents to everyone. Fortunately, they were well up to the task and afterwards all those present relaxed to listen to the Hambleden Village choir, led by Christine Wells, and everyone joined in with the singing of many favourite carols.
Dave Hollis of Bourne End Lodge, 7943, said: "We've been holding this event for several years now and the feedback from our guests is so satisfying. It makes it all so worthwhile."
