At Freemasons’ Hall on Friday 9th February, RW John Clark was Installed as the Provincial Grand Master of the Province of Buckinghamshire by the RW Deputy Grand Master, Jonathan Spence, and the visiting Officers of Grand Lodge on what was a most enjoyable and superbly organised Ceremony.
RW John Clark Invested W Bro Hugh Douglas-Smith as Deputy Provincial Grand Master and reappointed W Bro Graham Dearing and W Bro Phil Blacklaw as Assistant Provincial Grand Masters. W Bro Tony Robinson recited the Obligation and was Invested as Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
The Provincial Meeting was attended by over five hundred Buckinghamshire Freemasons and RW Brethren of many other Provinces who afterwards enjoyed an excellent banquet in the Grand Connaught Rooms.
Both the Deputy Grand Master and the Provincial Grand Master thanked all those present for their attendance and delighted everyone with amusing speeches. RW John Clark presented the RW Deputy Grand Master with a pair magnificent of gold cuff links replicating the Hallstone Jewel.
