1st Bourne End Scouts received £500 from the BMCF (Buckinghamshire Masonic Centenary Fund) to help buy a new trailer.
Charities small and large recently gathered to attend The Bucks Masonic Cheque presentation event which took place in new surroundings. Still in Aylesbury, the event took place at the Holiday Inn on the outskirts of the town. It was held in the afternoon, instead of its usual evening slot and was attended by both the High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, Mrs Julia Upton MBE and the new Mayor of Aylesbury Mike Smith.
John Waller’s Skydive in aid of the 2021 Festival, was originally scheduled for 04 May but finally went ahead on 19 May under mainly sunny skies.
Tony Higgins, Master of Scientific Lodge based in Wolverton and Charity Steward, Ian Devereux visited Thames Valley Air Ambulance recently to donate a cheque on behalf of the Lodge.
Tony and Ian were made most welcome and were treated to light refreshments during their visit. They also witnessed the Air Ambulance being scrambled to an incident.
Bucks Big Festival Fortnight - Charity Challenge
The BMCF (Bucks Masonic Centenary Fund) are pleased to announce their support for Harry’s Rainbow, a Milton Keynes based charity, which supports siblings and parents who have suffered a child bereavement. The charity needed a grant of £1898 to replace two aging and unreliable laptop computers which the BMCF was happy to supply.
The BMCF (Bucks Masonic Centenary Fund) has donated £3980 to the New Milton Keynes Cancer Centre which is being constructed at the Hospitals Eaglestone site.

Florence Nightingale Hospice based in Aylesbury received a grant of £400 from the MCF which is part of a £600,000 grant made to 237 Hospices across England and Wales.
