Wraysbury Lodge No 8689 held a Charity Golf Day at Lambourne Golf Club on the 25th of July 2019, and turned out to be the second hottest day in the UK recorded history.
Manor of Swanburn Lodge proved to be Olympic winners recently by raising £750 for Ward 5 (Children’s ward) at Milton Keynes University Hospital.
The Pace Centre recently received a grant from The Buckinghamshire Masonic Centenary Fund for £3980 enabling it to buy materials to construct a set of bespoke PODD books for ten of its students.
Thames Hospice, situated on Hatch Lane in Windsor, has received donations totalling £60,000 from the Provincial Grand Lodges of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and the MCF. The contributions of Freemasons from the two counties have enabled the collaboration which has resulted in this significant sum being donated for the benefit of the community.
Magiovinivm Lodge No 8091 held a "Turkish Night" at the Pasha in Bletchley which was held in aid of the Big Bucks Festival,
Great fun was had by all when St Giles held a Putt & Pint event at the Abbey Hill Pirate adventure golf course.
Sixty-four Freemasons, partners and guests took part in the tour on the evening of Saturday, June 8th, where luckily Nobody was Beheaded or Hung Drawn and Quartered! but a fantastic amount of £2650 was raised for good causes.
The Festival Fortnight kicked off with the open air showing of Bohemian Rhapsody in the gardens of Heatherden Hall, Pinewood Studios, Iver on Friday 7th June 2019. 260 tickets had been sold and over 200 came out on what could have been a very wet night but we amazingly dodged the rain and settled in to a great evening, where over £5000 was raised for the Festival.
Bucks AGPM Phil Blacklaw recently joined with the Winslow Rotary Club and the Lions Club of Winslow at the St Laurence Church in Winslow.
