Traditionally freemasonry has always been considered to be a male dominated fraternity, whilst this is true from the perspective of who can join, it could not be further from the truth in terms of what freemasonry stands for and how its members are encouraged to conduct their lives. The mark of a mason is someone who provides support and assistance to others where needed, this is particularly true in terms of the family.
Whilst in the past, freemasonry may have been considered a secret society, today you will find an openness which actively encourages non members to become more actively involved. Throughout this site you will discover more about freemasonry in general and in Buckinghamshire in particular. The Province of Buckinghamshire and the lodges therein, regularly organise events which are open to friends and families of masons as well as members of the public, such events are advertised on this site, please feel free to attend, or to contact us for more information.
